   Waterfall Morning + Lunch & Rest + Monasteries

   Morning trek to a local waterfall hidden in the forest above Bir. Return for a relaxed lunch and afternoon rest. As the day cools, visit the ancient monasteries of Bir — the Tibetan colony's gompa complex and Sherabling Monastery are two of the most serene in Himachal.

   Bir → Billing → Rajgundha → Barot

   An adventure day: drive up to Billing (the paragliding launch site), then continue on foot or by jeep through the Rajgundha meadows — a high pastoral valley known for its alpine beauty and shepherd communities. Descend to the Barot valley by evening.

   Barot → Hanumangarh → Bir

   Morning at the Uhl River dam and forest trails around Barot. Drive to Hanumangarh — a peaceful Himachali village with mountain views. Return to Bir in the afternoon.

   Mata Maheshwari Trek Camp Stay

   A full trek day: hike up to the Mata Maheshwari trek camp through oak and rhododendron forest. Set up at camp and spend the evening with the mountains.

   Palampur Tea Estates + Andretta Pottery & Baijnath + Return to Bir

   Leave for Palampur and walk through its rolling tea gardens — one of the prettiest landscapes in Himachal. Continue to Andretta, Himachal's renowned craft village, for a hands-on pottery experience. Stop at the 9th-century Baijnath Shiva temple before returning to Bir for dinner at a café.

    Triund Trek + Trek Camp Stay

    The classic Triund Trek: a 9 km trail through forest and open meadow to the grassy Triund ridge at 2,875 m. The Dhauladhar range rises directly above; the Kangra Valley spreads below. Spend the night at a proper mountain camp with bonfire and stars.

    Triund → Descent → Delhi (overnight return)

    Wake early for sunrise on the ridge. Descend back to Dharamkot by midday. Board an overnight coach to Delhi — arriving home with mountains still in your mind.
